The Nancy Faddegon Inspiring Voices Scholarship
The Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus proudly honors our founding director, Nancy Faddegon, with this annual scholarship.
A Sweet Adelines International member for over 30 years, Nancy has sung, composed, and inspired singers with her creativity, discipline, and dedication. This scholarship recognizes her influence by supporting a graduating high school senior pursuing Vocal Performance, Musical Theatre, Music Education, Music Therapy, or Music Composition and Theory, who also demonstrates active involvement in volunteer school or community service.
How to Apply:
Applicants will complete a simple application including:
- Musical accomplishments (3–5 bullet highlights)
- Community or service contributions (3–5 bullet highlights)
- A short personal statement (1 paragraph of 3–5 sentences) sharing something unique about themselves that is not reflected in the bullets
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, music director, or mentor
- Optional: Audio or video sample of a vocal performance
Award Amount: $250

Award Presentation:
In addition to recognition at the Saratoga Springs High School Senior Awards Night, the scholarship recipient will be invited to attend a Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus rehearsal to receive their award and give a short vocal performance for the chorus and guests.
