On Saturday, April 9th, Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus achieved Master Singer Status with a score of 601 at the annual Sweet Adelines Greater New York/New Jersey Region 15 Competition held in Albany. The chorus also placed fifth overall with the well-received musical package of the ballad, “The Bandstand in Central Park” and the uptune, “Don't Break the Heart that Loves You.”

The status of Master Director is awarded by Sweet Adelines International  to the director of a chorus earning over 600 points in the regional competition. Faddegon became eligible for this title by completing the Sweet Adelines Director Certification Program in 2011.   In addition to directing the award-winning Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus, Nancy is an accomplished barbershop arranger and composer. Her songs are sung by regions, choruses and quartets throughout the world of Sweet Adelines. She has also won eight First Place Regional Championships singing tenor with quartets InJoy, All The Rage, Tetra and One Track Mind.

Currently, Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus is the Sweet Adelines International Fourth Place Division A (15-30 members) Chorus. This honor was achieved at the SAI competition held in Las Vegas last October.
